When I pulled out my photography gear for taking pictures of my Ultramarines Captain, I thought it would be cool to photograph my Clanrats along with my Screaming Bell. As you can see, I made two halfed movement trays for the rats so I can put the Bell between them. If I don’t want to run a Bell, I can turn each tray and put them together for a 10×4 Horde formation.

The mysterious masked Stahly is the founder and mastermind of Tale of Painters. Hailing from Craftworld Germany, he has been walking the Path of the Warhammer Collector since childhood. Over the decades, he has painted multiple armies and countless warbands and miniatures. When he's not painting miniatures or working on his library of hand-painted colour swatches, he's testing the latest paints, tools and model kits with German precision and a no non-sense attitude.

It looks absolutely brilliant, I'm so jealous of your painting ability.
I know what you mean, Jonathan, for this army I used more subtile contrasts and muted colours.
Great looking units, Stahly. Your painting style is so brilliantly efficient it just boggles my mind. If I would have one tiny criticism (and it would be teensy-weensy), is that I would love to see a character, banner, or whatever in a contrasting color that really pops.
Awesome paint job they look terrific trying to push that big old bell. Nice work.
They look awesome, great job 🙂
