Showcase: Dominion of Sigmar Timeworn Ruins (incl. paint recipes)
Today I present you a couple of broken pillars from the Dominion of Sigmar: Timeworn Ruins set I painted to compliment my Warcry scenery collection. I chose a muted jade green that matches the pale green tiles on the grey Warcry game board as close…
Showcase: Warcry Ruins Azyrite Ruined Chapel (with paint recipes)
This week is Warcry Catacombs week! Today I share my Azyrite Ruins from the original Warcry starter set, which are also included in the new Catacombs box. I chose a basic dark grey stone colour for my ruins, with some details picked out in brass, rusty metal, and a jade green that matches the pale green tiles of the Warcry game board. I share all my paint recipes in this post, so feel free to copy or adapt my scheme as you please.

Armies on Parade season is upon us and I thought I’d share my experience with Modelling Foam Sheets by BluefoamUK. Find out what I thought after the jump.
Showcase: Kill Zone Sector Fronteris + Ryza Pattern Ruins (with paint recipes)
Over the last two years, I gathered a quite sizeable terrain collection of classic Necromunda cardboard buildings and modern 40k plastic terrain kits. I never got around to taking proper group shots, but Garfy’s awesome Souldrain Forest board inspired me to present my scenery in…
Showcase: Ravaged Lands: Souldrain Forest For Warcry
Games Workshop called this set the Souldrain Forest, but painting this set didn’t drain my soul at all. It was a load of fun and only took a week to finish. Find out how I painted all this terrain so quickly after the jump. …
Showcase: Sector Imperialis Statues
The final pieces to complete my terrain collection: Two Imperial brass statues from the Sector Imperialis range. I really liked those models when they were released, and when they were included in the Sector Sanctoris Killzone, I didn’t miss the chance to pick up a…
Showcase: Sector Fronteris Ryza Pattern Ruins and Structures
I already painted a few Ryza pattern structures and ruins before. Now I complete the Sector Fronteris Killzone by painting all the terrain features from the final Ryza sprue included in the set – plus a cute boxy Cogitator. More after the jump. All my Ryza…
Showcase: Honoured Imperium Broken Aquila
Another entry in my ever-growing terrain collection: The broken aquila from the Honoured Imperium set. A rather old set with three scatter terrain pieces, from which I only kept and painted this aquila. It’s a pretty sizable piece, over 27 cm wide. I painted it…
Showcase: Sector Imperialis Sewer Hatch
This is another rubble piece from the Sector Imperials scatter terrain sprue originally found in Urban Conquest, and later released in the Sector Sanctorum Killzone. I really like this piece, as it perfectly fits my underhive themed terrain collection. I think it makes a perfect…
