The best of Tale of Painters: August 2026
There was no sign of the summer slump on Tale of Painters in August. As far as new releases go, we were in a busy period, with new starter sets for Necromunda, Grimdark Future, and Trench Crusade that we took a closer look at, as well as new paints from The Army Painter and Gaahleri. On top of that, we painted a few cool models. Here is a roundup of everything you might have missed this month.

The Necromunda Skirmish Core Set hit shelves this weekend, kicking off a fresh edition of gang warfare in the depths of Hive Primus. The best of Tale of Painters: June & July 2026
June and July were so jam-packed with a truckload of new starter and army sets that we were simply too busy for a monthly best-of.
