Showcase: Warcry: Crypt of Blood Starter Set (inc. painting guides)
Are you new to Warcry? Is the new Crypt of Blood Starter Set worth getting? I’ll share my thoughts after having painted the entire set. I’ll also share painting guides for the entire contents of the box alongside some stunning cinematic photography.
Showcase: Warcry: Crypt of Blood Terrain (inc. painting guides)
You’ve ordered Warcry Crypt of Blood and you plan to throw the paper gaming sheet in the bin and make your own board, the next step is to paint the Crypt Noctis. I’ll share how I painted my ancient burial ground terrain pieces in this blog post.
Review: Warcry: Crypt of Blood starter set
Similar to Kill Team before it, Warcry, the skirmish offshoot of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, now also receives a compact starter box. However, it’s surprising that the set doesn’t include models or terrain pieces from the original Warcry launch box. Instead, it features two recycled Warhammer: Underworlds warbands combined with a new set of graveyard scenery. In my review, I’ll explain whether Warcry: Crypt of Blood is worth it or not.
Showcase: Blood Bowl Shambling Undead Team
The Shambling Undead team in Blood Bowl is a bone-chilling force to be reckoned with. Comprised of reanimated corpses, sinister wights, and towering mummies, this macabre squad brings a haunting presence to the pitch. In today’s showcase post, I share some pictures of my finished Blitz Bowl team.
Showcase: Warhammer Underworlds Starter Set (inc. paint recipes)
Underworlds finally joins Warcry and delves deep into the Gnarlwood in the Realm of Ghur. Warbands venture under the trees and into the cavernous root halls to find spilled treasures from the fallen voidship the Eye of Chotec. In today’s post I share stunning cinematic photography of Domitian’s Stormcoven and Ephilim’s Pandaemonium. Want to know how I painted these models? Well I also have full paint recipe cards for you to bookmark or download to keep for free.
Showcase: Blood Bowl Shambling Undead Wight and Skeletons
With another Wight and Skeleton player, my Shambling Undead for Blood Bowl and the board game version Blitz Bowl are almost complete. Some pictures in this post.
Showcase: Blood Bowl Shambling Undead Zombies
While I’m waiting for Leviathan and the new Warhammer 40.000 edition like all of you, I wanted to use the time until then to paint the remaining models from my Blood Bowl Shambling Undead team. After my first test model which I painted a couple of months ago I follow up with a pair of Zombies.
Showcase: Soulblight Gravelords Fell Bats (inc. painting guide)
When I wrote my recap of last year, I realized I haven’t painted anything for my Soulblight Gravelords and Nighthaunt collection in ages. I had a box of the new plastic Fell Bats sitting on my shelf for ages, so I thought I would give them a go. I got a Vargskyr from Cursed City, which I also want to paint at some point, so these Fell Bats are kind of test models for the scheme I planned for it.
Showcase: Warcry Bloodhunt boxed game (inc. painting guides)
Warcry Bloodhunt is the third release in the Warcry Heart of Ghur series (also know as Season 2). In today’s blog post I round up all my pictures and painting guides I made whilst completing this set in one handy dandy location.
Showcase: Askurgan Trueblades Warcry Warband (inc. painting guide)
The Askurgan Trueblades have risen from their meditation and martial honing practices to leave their monastic lifestyle behind them to venture onto the blog today. Check out my thoughts on how I think this warband might play in a game of Warcry and I’ll also share my tutorial guides for painting an Askurgan Trueblade and a Curseblood.
