Showcase: Warcry Fomoroid Crusher
Smashing through from the Eight Points this week is my take on the Fomoroid Crusher for Warcry. An overall amazing kit with a ton of options and bits. Reminding us that the word Ogre isn’t a synonym for a green swamp dwelling creature with Scottish accent voiced by a Canadian.
Showcase: Warcry Darkoath Savagers
On today’s post I share the Darkoath Savages I finished on the last day of December. These models are part of the Warcry Red Harvest Boxed Game and were the last models I needed to paint to complete that game. It always feels great to finish a boxed game. I also own a sizeable (over 2000pts) army of painted Slaves to Darkness, so these are great additions I’m happy to add.
Showcase: Warcry Tarantulos Brood
The Tarantulos Brood swing into action on the blog and prepare their trap with tempting showcase photography bait. If you’re here then you’re already been caught on the web.
Tutorial: How to Paint Tarantulos Brood Doomweaver
In this post, I’ll show you how to paint a Tarantulos Brood Doomweaver from the Warcry Red Harvest box set. I painted this model in 20 easy to follow steps. You’ll learn how I paint white webs, spider armour plates, poisoned skin and more. This tutorial is perfect for any of the models in the Tarantulos Brood like the Broodmaster or Broodkin. Find out how in this tutorial.
Showcase: Warcry Scions of the Flame warband
These zealots are the embodiment of the Realm of Fire. They truly believe they are made stronger by embracing Aqshian magic and hunting the beasts that Realm and performing rituals such as eating the hearts of Magmavores and Ash Salamanders. Those who are worthy become living flames and their weapons burning white hot and igniting in flame. Those who are unworthy are burnt to a cinder. Ultimately, all they want is to follow Archaon as he sets the Mortal Realms ablaze. More close up pictures of my newly finished warband after the jump.
Showcase: Slaves to Darkness Chaos Knights
This post is a Chaos bonanza! After the jump, I share more pics of my Chaos Knights including a video of them on a turntable, then there is a picture of the completed Start Collecting Slaves to Darkness set and finally I end the post…
WIP: Slaves to Darkness Chaos Knights
Work on the last 5 models of my Slaves to Darkness force is fully underway. As you can see I’m batch painting all 5 Chaos Knights at the same time, it’s a bit of a grind but I’m getting through it. After the jump I’ll…
Showcase: Slaves to Darkness Chaos Chariot
I finished this Chariot a couple of weeks back. I’ve only just got round to sharing it on the blog. It was a great model to paint as I could paint it all separately and glue it together. Each sub assembly being quite different from…
WIP: Slaves to Darkness Chaos Knights
Do you ever have a project that you have to grind through to complete? I’m at that stage with my Slaves to Darkness. These Chaos Knights are incredibly detailed. They’re amazing sculpts and I think they’re awesome but all the sculpting needs to be painted…
WIP: Slaves to Darkness Chaos Chariot
Do you ever pick up a model and you’re expecting it to be a chore to paint, just another model to slog through to get you one step closer to completing the army? I thought that with this Chariot but I’ve been loving it! It’s…
