It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Duncan Rhodes’ Two Thin Coats colour range. So I’m delighted to announce that wave 3 is about to launch on Kickstarter. Here at Tale of Painters, we have the exclusive privilege of revealing the 60 new colours.

This is an honest and unbiased review of the new Warpaints Fanatic. If there is one thing that The Army Painter is good at, then it’s generating buzz on social media. However, I found that their quality control can be hit or miss. Over the last couple of years, I tested all major miniature paint ranges, so I have a really good idea of what acrylic paint can do these days. I tried all 216 colours of the new range, and I’ll tell you if The Army Painter can live up to their promises.

A lot of people didn’t like it when Games Workshop changed the formula of their Shade paints and reduced the size of the pots. They’ve already dropped two paint sets co-developed with YouTube legends Ninjon and Vince Venturella, and two more sets by pro painters Ben Komets and Matt Cexwish are out when you read this. In this review, I’ll be taking you through the entire ProAcryl range, with a special focus on the Signature Series.
