Today I bring the new version of Archon that I picked up about a week ago. The day I bought him was a fun one as I finally got to meet Stahly before he set off to the Warhammer event with Garfy. I’m still bummed that I never got the chance to go due to work as from what I heard they had a awesome time. Hopefully next year. I like the new Archon model a lot and he was a fun painting project. The only thing that I would recommend is not to glue the head to the model before painting. I can imagine if the head is glued painting could be a nightmare. What do you guys think?

Awesome as usual.
Strongly agree on keeping the head separate, I glued mine in and have had to perform some surgery to replace it part way through painting the model : Yours is looking great though!
I’ve seen a few of these now and have not been sure if I liked the piece or not… until now. After seeing yours im sold. Amazing.
The John Blanche-esque sepia tones and pale skin really sell this model. Bravo!
How did you do the Cape? Love the dingey look!
Awesome work, as always. Your style is awe inspiring.
Can I ask how did you achieve that rich armour tone?
