The Colossal Squig. Again another model from Forge World that I painted for a customer. A very easy model to assemble. Many people thought that the single leg would not be strong enough to support the body of the Squig. But surprisingly it a solid cast model. The only thing that really needed doing was pinning the foot to the base to help it balance. But other than that, I really loved this model. Anyone else have a go at painting him, and what did you think?

I agree with Brovatar, much more real looking than the red'space hoppers' (although those work in larger units). I also love the base – makes the model tie together really well. Are there any tutorials or showcases on the site regarding basing btw?
