In today’s post we take a look inside the new Warhammer 40,000 Indomitus boxed set. I was lucky enough to be one of the few that Games Workshop sent copies out to and I’ve actually had it for around a week now which means I’ve got some finished miniatures to share with you all.

Here’s my unboxing video, you’ll hear all my thoughts on this new set in the video.

I’m not much of a gamer. I haven’t actually played 40k for the past few editions, instead focussed on Underworlds, Warcry and the odd Age of Sigmar game. But I have been collecting 40k armies in the background. My Dark Angels and Deathguard being my most recent 40k additions. This new set has got me excited for 40K again though. Having sold my Necrons last year I find myself wanting to have another go at painting them, however I’m more excited to paint up the Space Marines in the set as Deathwing and Ravenwing.

I used my own Deathwing tutorial to paint this Lieutenant. Even after all these has going back to that tutorial, it’s great to see how well he fits in with my Deathwing Terminators.

My Get a Grip handle is great for painting the inside of the Judicar’s skirt, er I mean coat.

Because I’m a painter and collector more than a gamer I’ll be blogging a lot about these models in set over the next couple of months. I’ll also be creating a painting tutorial for my Necrons scheme. For the cool blue blade I used thistutorial I wrote

Not sure what to call the Dynasty yet, for now I’m calling them TOOOOOMB KIIIIIIINGS IN SPAAAAACE.
