Ultramarines: Commander with Relic Blade and Bolter
Really, really like the model. Just how a Space Marine Commander should look like. I love how the cloak drapes over the shoulder pads. I use the same techniques for character models as on regular guys as I think it makes the whole army look...
Ultramarines: Land Speeder
I think I overdid with those scratches but oh well. Painting Land Speeders takes really long, because in addition to a reasonable big vehicle you also have to paint the crew. It would be nice to have a second Land Speeder but atm I can’t...
Ultramarines: Razorback/Rhino
Can either be built as a Razorback with TL Heavy Bolters or Rhino. I got the Extra Armour from the Vindicator sprue.
Ultramarines: Assault Squad
I hate painting jump packs even more than painting regular Space Marine backpacks 😉
Ultramarines: Vindicator
I really dig the design of this model with its huge and chunky dozer blade. I wasn’t that keen of the ammunition crane though.
Ultramarines: Drop Pod
This model is really huge and thus a challenge to work with and paint. I really like how the paint chipping has come out, I also used the same effect on the Vindicator and the Dreadnought CCW.
Ultramarines: Tactical Squad Beta
Not much to say, squad has the limited Seargent model GW released when the homepage was relaunched. Notice the 2nd Edition Bolter on the Corporal.
Ultramarines: Whirlwind/Rhino
With swapable parts you can choose to use this vehicle as either a Whirlwind or a Rhino. While I heard that a Whirlwind isn’t really a competative choice, I had to add one to my army as the old Mk I metal Whirlwind was the...
Ultramarines: Tactical Squad Alpha
My first tactical squad. I chose to use metal veteran models for my seargents as I feel they add more character to an Ultramarines army who tends to feel rather “vanilla”. I also added a “Corporal” who leads the second combat squad if the squad...
Ultramarines: Dreadnought
This is a dreadnought with storm cannon and DCCW arms. I always loved the clean design and shapes of the basic dread. This model is actually the first model I painted for this army.
