Hi all, I just finished this brand new model for the Death Watch, and thought I should share it with you. I painted him rather quick, for the purpose of display in my local GW shop.
Black armour isn’t that easy and, due to an approaching deadline, I decided to only highlight some areas.
The rest of the model was done more or less how I felt a Captain of the Deathwatch should look like, i.e. besides the silver also some gold and red hues for the model’s various details. All in all I think the paint job gives a fair impression of what the model is about.

The gold looks like it could use a wash. Not a fan of all that blue on the silver but the black armour is nice. That being said its 100x better than what you typically see in the gw display section.
Nice that they carried on this character from Inquisitor.
Good job, I wish my rush jobs looked this fine!
