Every miniature painting brush I’ve ever bought has come with a little plastic cover to protect the bristles. In this ToP TIPS I’ll share three alternative uses for this handy little tube.
1. Basing Materials
The small tubes are idea for pipes for your models.
2. Blood Spatter Effects
Take your tube and dip it into Contrast Flesh Tearers Red then give it super hard, short puff of breath on the end. Practice on a spare model to get a feel for it.
3. Hold your Paint Lids Open
This is my favourite use for the brush protectors, simple and really helpful.
Do you use the brush protectors for something else? Tell us in the comments and if you got any ideas or questions for future ToP tips, submit them below.
