Showcase: Cadian Rogal Dorn Battle Tank

Hi everyone, hope this reaches you all safe and well in the busy lead up to Christmas. With the night’s drawing in, if you are like me, you are getting those lamps on and painting away regardless. I am pleased to be able to share photos of my Rogal Dorn Battle Tank. The Rogal Dorn is a “heavy” battle tank, with a vast array of weapon options. The Rogal Dorn can hold a battle line or move forward in a crushing advance with ease. 

The Rogal Dorn is my favourite Astra Militarum Battle Tank released so far. Sure, the Leman Russ is an iconic design that everyone loves, but the Rogal Dorn is such an impressive model with loads of great features and design qualities that really make it stand out on the gaming tabletop or in your collection, even with its front “nipple guns!” 🤣

I had the opportunity to use it against Garfy in some games over the past few months. My Cadian’s held their own against Garfys mighty Blood Angels but took seriously heavy casualties in both games!  I definitely need to improve my commanding abilities and fast! Or there will be dissent in the Cadian ranks for sure. 

Not long now until the launch of the new Astra Militarum Codex. The recent balance data slate (Dec 24) has seen some significant changes for Astra Militarum so I wonder what’s next? One thing for sure, it’s exciting times ahead. 

I love the look of the new Krieg range and I am hopeful to get some to paint, however, I’m a huge fan of the Cadian range and I really hope that we might see some new Cadian models as well with the Codex launch, perhaps a new Character if we are lucky? 🤞
