Fresh from the daemonic forges comes part 2 of our review of the second wave of the Hel smiths of Hashut releases. We have high quality sprue images for the Infernal Razers and Hobgrot Vandalz, and we look closely at all the build options.

The Helsmiths of Hashut wave 2 will be available for pre-order starting Saturday, 18 October 2025. The pre-order period lasts two weeks, with the official release date set for 1 November 2025.
This is part two of our two-part Helsmiths of Hashut review. Part one, featuring Uruk Taar on Infernal Taurus, Bull Centaurs / Anointed Sentinels, and Daemonsmith / Ashen Elder can be found here. Helsmiths of Hashut Infernal Razers review and unboxing
The Infernal Razers come in a box containing three small sprue segments, five 28 mm bases, and an assembly guide. Unfortunately, the Helsmiths of Hashut transfer sheet is missing, and the kit only includes five infantry-sized models. The RRP sits at a hefty £29.50 / 38€ / $48 – just £4.50 less than the Infernal Cohort box, which contains twice as many models and the transfer sheet.

- Model 1 can be built as either a Champion or a regular Razer with either a Grizmalok blunderbuss or a Karagthrun flamehurl. For the Champion, there are two head options: 1 male bare head with topknot (pt. 12), 1 female head with a larger helmet (pt. 4). Plus there are two heads for the regular Razer: 1 male head with helmet (pt. 5), and 1 male bare head with short mohawk (pt. 15).
- Models 2 to 5 are regular Razers and can also be armed with either Grizmalok blunderbusses or Karagthrun flamehurlers. The come with 1 head each.
- Even though the manual doesn’t say this, the heads are pretty much interchangeable.
It’s good that the box includes enough weapons to equip all five models with either option. Otherwise, there are no extra parts for customisation apart from the extra heads for the Champion sculpt – which is really a shame, because the left sprue segment has a lot of empty space. They could easily have squeezed in a couple of extra heads or a fancier gun for the Champion.
Visually, I think the Infernal Razers look fantastic – Duardin wielding handheld cannons and flamethrowers? Yes, please. But the kit simply offers too little and is too expensive for just five small models.
PS: If you don’t know how to paint your Zharrdron yet, check out my free painting tutorial for the black, yellow and gold of Muspelzharr – works perfectly for painting Infernal Razers as well!
Hobgrot Vandalz review
The Hobgrot Vandalz box contains 20 models on 25 mm bases. They come on three small sprue segments with ten models each, duplicated to make up the full twenty. The box also includes the assembly guide, and the Helsmiths transfer sheet. The RRP is a more palatable £38.50 / 50€ / $60.

The sculpts are monopose with no extra pieces except for the command, and since the sprue is duplicated, you’ll end up with duplicate poses as well.
- One specific body can be built as a Champion with a whip, another as a musician, and another as a standard bearer. Or be assambled as regular Hobgrots instead
- The seven other Hobgrots are monopose builds.
- You can freely swap between the eight included shields, even the manual doesn’t say so.
- Two heads are molded to the arms, and the separate heads are each designed to fit a specific neck. However, the joints are very similar, so it wouldn’t be too difficult to swap heads around with a little bit of gap filling.
I was honestly surprised that the Hobgrots received an additional kit beyond their Kruleboyz counterparts. Compared to the Hobgrot Slittaz, the Vandalz feature chunkier, more angular armour and weapons, which align much more closely with the Zharrdron aesthetic.
