A quick one of a recently painted Slaanesh Daemon Prince that I did as a commission. Not 100% certain which brand this model comes from. If anyone knows I’d be keen to find out. The model itself came in 5 pieces. The resin was very similar to what UltraForge uses, its very tough and was fairly straight forward to assemble. I painted it so that the black from the mirror was running from the mirror up the Daemon Princes arm. Apologies as I unfortunately took the one photo, so its probably hard to see. And the blue effect on the armour was from using the new GW colour Nihilakh Oxide, which was a fun paint to use. What do you think of the new GW effect paints? I personally quite like them.

Awesome paintjob!
The model is produced by Russian casting team named "Krutiye Figi" ("Cool figures"). The sculpt is unique artist's work, casted by autor's permission.
If anyone is interested in what the model is, you can find him on Ebay by searching Warhammer Daemon Prince of Slaanesh miniature. The sellers name is hobbyworld.ua .I think he's a Russian dealer. Hope that helps.
Awesome, just ordered one! haha
The Tzeentch marine/terminator bodies that he has are pretty cool as well. Your like the Slaanesh model, its nice.
Golly Moses, who makes that fantastic mini?!
I'm going to try and find out from the guy I painted it for. I'll put the name hopefully up in the next few days..
I would pay to watch a tutorial of you paint. You listened when I asked for pics of your workbench, how about you create a tutorial we can buy :p free if you want!
Hi AAZipzop2, I would really like to do videos on YouTube and I have planned to do so for about a year now. I get asked this a lot by people. But unfortunately I never have time. I work pretty much non stop as a commission painter day and most nights and just trying to find any time is really hard. The guys on YouTube like Les from AwesomePaintJob or Ichiban painting spend a long time making the videos that they put up, and when you consider that and they time I have its tough as I can only do so much per day. But in conclusion I would like to, and if I get a chance in the new year I'll give it ago.
What about live streaming for a bit of time, apart from staying clothed and not picking your nose too much it would be way less effort. But edited videos would be great, I've got a couple of paid vids and they are great, one for speed painting armies and of course jeremie bonamants.
Even if you set up to take wip photos step by step it would be illuminating as you use very particular techniques that most miniature artists wouldn't use.
Hi AAZipzop2, you know it is really difficult. As you might know I work as a commission painter and run a company. I get asked a lot and even get offers of payment to show how to paint bits. A lot of times its from other miniature painting companies and I always say no to tutorials. It feels bad, but what I do is business at the end of the day and if a painting company wants to learn how to paint they should learn it themselves. I'm not saying I'm the best painter in the world, but that's how I make money. If you get what I mean. I can give basics, but whole tutorials is not my thing. I have always said this on TOP'S and I know a few people get disgruntled. Garfy, Stahly etc + Les from Awesomepaintjob and Ichiban give fantastic tutorials. If I was to make vids it would be mainly showcasing bits etc from commissions.
After the new paints came out I decided to repaint a 2500 point Necron army to utilize the patina effect. Love the look above plan to try that on my lords.
The new GW oxide paint would probably work pretty nice on Necrons. I'd give it a go if I was you, see how it looks.
The blood paint is pretty cool. It works really nice as well for splatters by flicking the brush
I'd say the blood paint is the best I've found so far.
How big is that compared to a gw daemon prince?
Gorgeous paint job
I would say he is a fair bit taller and wider than the regular GW Daemon. Not a huge amount, but enough to notice if they stood side by side.
Nice!
