Hot on the heels of completing Deathstorm, I’m straight back to Dark Vengeance with a small batch paint of Dark Angel Tactical Marines. I must say I’m really enjoying painting green. If you’d like to know how I painted my tactical marine click here.

Coming along nicely … but no Grav weapons ? 😉
I'm loving the technique you used on the armour- great contrast but still quite simple closeup.
The Dark Angels are a nice looking army to paint and these so far look great. Also heard on the grapevine the new DA codex is supposed to be very good. Ahem 🙂
I doubt I'll ever play a game with the new codex. The amount of codex books I've bought and never used and then seen them replaced.
The imperial knight one was replaced in like 8 months or something stupid. Frustrating.
I know what you mean. I some how wonder if this was planned and they knew that they would be replacing all the codex's in a very short space. They must have known when releasing the Blood Angels one as Necrons came out only a few weeks later with the updated rules etc etc, and then ever other codex started appearing again. It is frustrating. The main thing that gets me is that now you have to buy certain models to get the special rules.
Its funny to see you working on the same boxes i have sitting behind me 🙂 I swear I was joking about have my DV set done by the next codex or edition but here we are… O_o I should really get on that. Maybe next edition!
I just have to finish it now. It's getting on my nerves.
Always workin hard Garfy! I'm workin on the same pieces…hope to have enough time!
Thanks dude. Yes always working hard on numerous things I love.
Thank goodness this blog allows anonymous comments again. As for the work, Garfy your rate of output puts many to shame; keep it up! Great to see some DA stuff as a new 'dex is around the corner.
