Hi, all! Today I would like to present you my Legio Custodes Squad “Ares” which I finished recently. I converted them a little bit by using arms from the Cataphractii Terminators. I saw a picture of Cataphractii Terminators of the Legio Custodes, but I thought it would be a better idea to use the bodies from the original sprue from the Burning of Prospero box set and give them bolters and power fists instead.

Awesome stuff! The shoulders really fit those guys)
What is the recipe for the gold though? Looks cool!
Thx, i used Retributor Gold washed with Reikland Fleshshade. Then I drybrushed with Retributor, Liberator Gold and litlle bit Ironbreaker. I applied a very thin layer of Lamenters Yellow.
Thx! Will try that out someday!
These could make nice counts-as Cataphract Terminators alongside your normal Custodes, that would look cool on the table. A sea of golden righteous destruction in the name of the Emperor
Yeahhhh…..;)
With this setup (bolter+power first) Cataphractii shoulder pads looks better, solid and more powerfisty if you know what I mean 😉
Thx 😉
