After the success of my last sales, I have around 4500pts of Ultramarines left to sell (all pictured above) and I want to sell 1500pts blocks for £500 each. After the jump find out how you can own a piece of White Dwarf history.
Yes this army is part of the larger collection that was featured as army of the month in White Dwarf.
All you have to do is add up a minimum of 1500pts from the list and email me what you’d like. You can add additional 500pt chunks to your 1500pts for an additional £170 per 500pt chunk. For example 2000pt is £670 and 2500pts is £840. Or you can purchase all 4660pts for £1500.
Email me at garfy.taleofpainters@gmail.com with your list. First received order gets pick of the crop. Anyone other orders after that I will reply with an amended list of what (if anything) is remaining.
Buyer to pay for shipping.

White Dwarf history… Jesus you dont half love yourself do you.
Being proud of being featured in White Dwarf is nothing to be shamed of. If you ever get featured you might feel the same.
I second that Garfy, it didn't come off as smug at all. I have that WD, and I STILL marvel at that huge mass of Marines! 😛

LOL, I'd say ol Garf is a bit of a legend. The guy has been in more WD than I have ever seen as a reader. I say good going for him.
Thanks lads.
I think his comment might've been intended in a positive light…I don't know, it's phrased ambiguously 😀
Anyway, I can't believe you're parting with this. I don't think the collector in me will ever part with any of my collection willingly.
This is a beautiful collection indeed, some UM collectors will be very lucky 😀
Thank you my friend for saying such kind words.
I loved this Army in WD, you can be rightly proud. I've sent a link to my mate who collects UM, it's a steal imho, there's lots of hours of work in that.
Hi Garfy,
Beautiful minis – I wish I had the money 🙁
Off topic a litte:
May I ask if you are slowly winding down with the ToP?
You were the one that got me into collecting minis back with your painting tutorials for the Hobbit boxed set.
I don't come onto this site any more so much – only because you seem to be posting less and less (and because of new family blahblahblah).
I know there are many great talents featured on this site – but I think it is normal to pick a favourite, and you are mine! It must have something to style, personality, painting technique etc.
Anyway – please let me thank you for all of the hours you put into your blogs, tutorials and everything else in order to make miniature collecting and painting accessible to the masses 🙂 Whether you are winding down or not – thank you 🙂
Edd
Hi Edd, it's not so much I'm 'winding down', it's more like I'm trying to 'keep my hand in'. It's no secret that at Christmas I posted about bringing new hobbies to the front and pushing games Workshop to the back. Since then I've been learning to draw in 3D and bought a 3D printer. This new hobby is eating up all my spare time. I'm hoping to pick up the odd single model and paint it from time to time. Squads and Armies will have to take a back seat.
