The mysterious masked Stahly is the founder and mastermind of Tale of Painters. Hailing from Craftworld Germany, he has been walking the Path of the Warhammer Collector since childhood. Over the decades, he has painted multiple armies and countless warbands and miniatures. hi there been going over you blog and its fantastic was wondering how you did the bronse affect on the armour. im looking at starting a skaven army and out of all of them i have seen online yours are a mile above the rest

@andrew I used Vallejo Game Colour Hammered as a basecoat, then for shading I painted VGC Brown Ink in the recesses, once dry I used glazes of thinned VGC Scurf and Jade Green for the verdigris. Highlights are VGC Bright Bronze and Formula P3 Radiant Platinum. The Vallejo bronze and gold paints are awesome, they cover very good.
