Did the faces of the Scouts. The shaved head of the right one sucks, I might have to repaint it.

Stahly is the founder of Tale of Painters. He lives in Craftworld Hamburg, located in the north of Germany, where he walks the Path of the Graphic Designer. He transitioned from Lego to Games Workshop models at the tender age of 11 and didn't look back ever since. By now, his collection comprises Ultramarines, Blood Angels, Aeldari of Craftworld Iybraesil, Drukhari and various Warbands, Necromunda gangs and Blood Bowl teams. He is known for bold colour schemes and sharp edge highlights, which he paints with typical German perfectionism (one of the reason he is such a notoriously slow painter).

Those faces look pretty darn good. Human skin always gives me a hard time. That's why I often paint other armies first, like Skaven or Orcs/Orks.
Stay tuned, I photographed the process and will write a tutorial for human skin soon! 😉
Great work, those faces are so expressive! I look forward to seeing your tutorial on how you went about painting them.
Great news about the tutorial! That just made my day.
Your paintint is absolutely incredible. Ive seen insane painting before but some of your models are crazy – almost as if their 50x their actual size when you paint them to get all the details in. Ive just started painting miniatures myself but im only average. Ive got a good painting hand but lack knowledge of all the techniques such as washing/shading/highlighting etc.
