Hi Sigur !
Your Marienburg Landship is awesome !
I've just received mine and was affraid to look @ the 2 rear wheels that were awfully badly molded.
Most of the parts are twisted also.
What do you use to straighten the resin ? Hot Water or hairdryer ?
I'll convert my landship (yes, it's heresy) to use it with my Marienburg Skaven Army i'm working on. I haven't enough free time to work on my two favorites army (Skaven and Empire), so i've decided to convert my Skavens with Empire look & feel ^^
This Landship will be a great peace in this army.
Really like the bright tone of the ship's wood! I've also thought about putting a sail to the ship, but I fear it could look a bit too crowded, cause the ship's middle section it quite short. Would appreciate, if you'd try a sail on this one and proof me wrong.
I really, really love this model! Ever thought about a flying one??? If my skills wouldn't be that mediocre and the kit not that expensive, that some try and error would be affordable…
Increasing number of crew members suits the ship very well!!!
🙂
Thanks, guys! I'm not actually an Empire player either but once this thing was reviewed I knew that I wanted to have this. 😉
@Matthew: Oh yes, I absolutely agree with you there. The mast probably would have to be a bit taller I suppose. Well, I'll look into that when the rest of the ship is finished.
I'm not sure if landships normally have a sail, but one here would look great.
Sweet, it's looking really great. If I was an Empire player I'd buy this in a heartbeat. The rules are hilarious.
This is going to look superb. Lovely painterly style you've got there.
