With the release of Black Library’s Know No Fear novel depicting the war between the Ultramarines and the Word Bearers during the Horus Heresy, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share 5 models from my entire Ultramarine 1st Company collection. These models show the armour marks I, II, III, IV and V.
From left to right: MKV, MKI, MKIII, MKII and MKIV
I freehand all my icons. You can learn more here.
Do you like these old metal models? Maybe you own some of the new Forge World resin models, or maybe you converted your own like Rev. Tell us about your Pre Heresy minis in the comments.

Painting them all up in the same scheme looks good. I picked up the Finecast version of this set (casting was all fine but a lot of flash to clean up). Now I just have to work out what to do with it. Thanks for posting this.
Very nice! Mixing up those old models with some new gear looks cool!
