More work done to the carapace. I’ve highlighted the edges, added purple to the recesses and added the yellow spot colour. Coming along now, but it’s slow going.

@ Blaise – Potentially you could be right, but I didn't know I was going to do the purple when I was airbrushing, and it didn't take long to add. I think the dry brush is better for it because in-between the plates their is raised fleshy detail.
@ R.C. Fountain – Glad you like the spots. I think the spots are a nice evolution on my original scheme but still tie my older nids together with my new paint scheme.
Always nice to see a new bio-titan enter the fray. 😉 Those bio-luminescent spots are a great touch! Nice job, Garfy. 🙂
how are you adding the purple in the recesses? I would have thought it'd have been easier to do that earlier on in the painting process with the airbrush?
