Dear readers, merry christmas and season’s greetings in the name of the whole Tale of Painters crew! We hope you have nice holidays so far and can spend your time with your friends and family – and, of course, models! So what hobby-related presents have been hidden for you under your tree (or in your stockings, or whatever tradition you’re familiar with 😉 ? Put your christmas treats in the comments, we wanna know who is the luckiest person that has been gifted most!
Stahly
The mysterious masked Stahly is the founder and mastermind of Tale of Painters. Hailing from Craftworld Germany, he has been walking the Path of the Warhammer Collector since childhood. Over the decades, he has painted multiple armies and countless warbands and miniatures. When he's not painting miniatures or working on his library of hand-painted colour swatches, he's testing the latest paints, tools and model kits with German precision and a no non-sense attitude.

My wife got my son and I the Warhammer 40k Dark Vengeance set. Chaos for him, space marines for me. I'll be using the Hellbrute painting guide found here!
My early Christmas present was the Hobbit boxed set. And thanks you to you guys, I'm working my way through the painting using those EXCELLENT tutorials!!
Other than that, I got some cash, so I'm sure that will go towards some type of hobby-related goodies!
I've found "The Purging of Cadillus" under the tree, and I'm gonna treat myself with a couple of Dark Eldar kits (since my Vampire Counts mega force was sold out) and, thanks to Garfy's help, an airbrush.
Well, my birthday was only ten days before Christmas, and I got a Badger Renegade Krome airbrush for that! 😀
Well I know it's the day before but I have a new DSLR Canon waiting in wrapping paper….. I've been drooling over it for the last two months!
So expect awesome new pics next year:)
Merry Xmas every one.
