Hey there, I’ve almost completed the first batch of Wraithguard, as you can see on the picture above. Now all they need are final corrective actions, some static grass and transfers. The only thing I’m wondering at the moment is whether I should give them white helmets instead of black ones. I feel there is already a lot of black on them, while pure white is missing. What do you guys think – black helmets with a white infinity rune or white helmets with a black rune?
Stahly
The mysterious masked Stahly is the founder and mastermind of Tale of Painters. Hailing from Craftworld Germany, he has been walking the Path of the Warhammer Collector since childhood. Over the decades, he has painted multiple armies and countless warbands and miniatures. When he's not painting miniatures or working on his library of hand-painted colour swatches, he's testing the latest paints, tools and model kits with German precision and a no non-sense attitude.

Totally stick with black!
Agreed, keep the helmets black. I think once the white infinity circuit gets slapped on it'll stand out very nicely!
They do look stunning as they are.
As for perhaps breaking up the black, have you considered a design such as the ones shown in the Iyanden Supplement?
yes, stick with the black helmets.
I like the black helmets. I'd stick with em.
I think the black is symbolic of death. It's really fitting for these dead ghost warriors.
I'd go with black. It looks absolutely stunning and fits the models quite well.
