Hello everyone, Rovient here, I’m back for part 2 of my Dark Eldar showcase, and so are you, it seems.

I’ll get straight into it…

Dark Eldar Warriors and their Venoms:

The army is comprised of 5 different Venoms, each containing 5 Dark Eldar Warriors equipped with a Blaster. This gives the force a huge amount of poison damage output form the Venoms, and every unit is able to take on any armour in the game with their blasters.

I painted 25 Dark Eldar Warriors in total, obviously, but due to their fragile nature, whenever a Venom explodes it usually takes 2-3 of the passengers with it! It’s a shame that half of them never even reach the tabletop each game.

The 3 Razorwing Jets:

Despite the Kabal of The Blazing Sun’s heavy ground presence, I felt they would be almost defenceless against aircraft. So, I did what any self respecting Archon would do; I spammed Razorwings!

Razorwings are simply incredible on the tabletop. Their standard missiles can nuke whole mobs of Orks, Astra Militarum or even Marines in 1-2 blasts and their Dark Lances can penetrate any vehicle in the game.

Taking 3 allows for 1 to go down to interceptor fire when they arrive, but still be effective for the remainder of the game.

And that’s it! I’ve really enjoyed sharing my force with you guys. I’ll get back to my current project (Death Guard!) and perhaps you’ll see me here again one day.

Until then, why not take a look at my Flickr feed for my other armies and minis?

Take care everyone!
