Greetings all, Lecoqadoodledo back with part two of the beginning of an ambitious Space Marine project. Not necessarily part of a Battle Company, I added the Scouts with Snipers just because I like the models so much, and it allowed me to work out the scheme for certain elements throughout the army, such as the fabric.
And there you have it, the first two units of the army. I painted these throughout November and December. It’s been enjoyable so far, not painting a project to a high display standard has been interesting, but it’s a nice break, and gives me something straightforward to work on with a long term goal. I hope you all like them, tell me in the comments section below.

Awesome !
I'm loving the way you painted the lense of the scope !
Thank you! I'm glad you like them.
Great to see more of your work. Truly inspiring. I just love the clean and crisp space marines. Would love to see more and some tutorials from you.
Thanks! I should have more to show soon!
Can't wait to see more! as always mate. Consistent, clean and crisp! tells a story!
Thanks Jiunn! Here's hoping the chapter symbols get more consistent too! 😛
Awesome work. Those lenses look real!
Thank you!
These are fantastic. There's something to be said for clean and crisp. This is going to be a really beautiful army when you're done.
Thanks! I like clean and crisp because.. well.. I'm no good at painting weathered and dirty. Long road ahead of me, with plenty of other projects along the way, but at least this is an endeavour I can always come back too.
Haha. Loved the Toy Story reference and of course the paint job. The camo-pattern was awesome.
Thank you! I couldn't resist when I was painting the boot, just seemed so appropriate. I'm pretty pleased with how the camouflage turned out, I copied the Warhammer TV tutorial for them.
