Surprise! Did you see that coming? Of course not, because they are Raven Guard, covert warfare specialists… I don’t usually share my Raven Guard on the blog because they are my ‘gaming army’ I paint them cleanly but simply. I do however love the Dark Fury assault squad from Forge World which I use as Vanguard Veterans in games. I was pleased with how they came out when I painted them so I thought I would share them with you.
In addition to the Dark Fury squad, I have also painted a Primaris Librarian for my Raven Guard recently, it was a nice change of pace painting blue rather than black for a while. Its a really nice Librarian model with loads of detail so I found it a lot of fun to paint.
My Raven Guard army is reaching a nice size and I’d like to take an army wide photo to share with you. If you have any suggestions on backgrounds to use let me know in the comments below, my trusty A3 card certainly won’t hold it!

Very nice, the Vanguard Vets look good, I love those claws.

The OSL is really nice as is the blue and orange? base combo. The black cape just ties it all together and marks him out as a Raven Guard (also looks more battle appropriate than a white/cream/yellow dressing gown (and looks more Matrix-y)) ??
