I’ve been fooling around trying to get rid of the leftover stuff in my bits box recently. That and I’m displaying in Warhammer World again over Christmas and I’ve got no miniatures to speak of in my possession! Trying out a new gold, as I was unhappy with the new GW gold paints. This is a vallejo game colour recipe. Also messing about with OSL on a few more minis to try and get it nailed after a good experience on the GK interceptors.More angles after the jump, and more assorted random minis in the next few days!

What with seeing Sigur's awesome Drop Pod and now this spectacular Captain, it really makes me want to paint my Ultramarine Drop Pod. Must stay focussed.
Yay! Random bits minis! I love those. For some reason they always turn out so well. Maybe it's just that I don't expect much from them to begin with since they come from the bits of random minis? Maybe that's the key and it's more pure form of creativity? Hmmm, I need some grant money to research this more…
Nice, I love Forge World's Huron model. It's cool to see you using him for a chapter other than the Astral Claws. Very nice work.
