Orruk Warclans Manifestations review
It’s been a while since we’ve seen any new spell effects, but now the Orruk Warclans are getting their own set! The kit comes with a two-part sprue, and the mold quality is surprisingly good – better than some of the older manifestations sets. Nevertheless, there are some very jarring seam lines, so be prepared for the gap filling. Included are the iconic Foot of Gork (complete with footprint), a Gork-Roarer, and the Morkspit Marsh. The only downside is that they could have designed two separate kits: one for the Ironjawz and one for the Kruleboyz, instead of mixing both factions in a single kit.

Bossrokk Tower & Skaregob Totem unboxed
The 2-in-1 theme continues with the new faction-specific terrain for the Orruk Warclans. You start by building the basic totem structure, with the option to swap the left and right tusks and choose to assemble one of them to be broken or intact. Then, you can customize it to be either an Ironjawz Bossrokk Tower or a Kruleboyz Skaregrob Totem. For the Bossrokk Tower, you add an Ironjaw to the bone platform, while the Kruleboyz version gets a wooden mask, extra lichen, a hook, and a large Skareshield.
I really like the design of both versions. The two-part construction of wooden stakes and a carved stone face provides a nice visual contrast compared to a simple stone idol. The sharpness of the casting is slightly lower than regular kits, as is typical for ‘Made in China’ terrain, but it’s still perfectly fine.

Hobgrot Slittaboss model review
The Slittaboss gives the Hobgrots their own unique leader character. The kit comes in a small clamp pack with a 28mm base. It seems Games Workshop is moving away from plastic blisters, as the Slittaboss comes in a new cardboard packaging, which is a departure from traditional plastic blisters. Build options are limited to a bare head with an eyepatch or a helmeted head.

Final Verdict
Reinforcements for the Orruk Warclans. This time, only a small number of new models are being released alongside the new Battletome, following the recent large wave of releases for the Ironjawz. The manifestations and terrain piece cover both the Ironjawz and Kruleboyz, while the Slittaboss fleshes out the Hobgrots with their own character.
