What’s red and bounces on grass? No, not an Arsenal striker in the penalty box, it is of course my squig herd! This is my favourite unit from my Goblin collection. Read on for more pics.
I painted this herd a couple of years ago, so the models are all metal and the unit is really heavy. I converted some squigs to be hopping off of skulls, barrels and rocks to give the unit some bounce height. Because they’re metal though, they keep toppling over. Maybe Finecast isn’t all bad?
The top view shows the herd is horde worthy. Think of all those extra attacks… munch munch…
Here are some close ups of some of my favourite conversions from the unit. The snotling who has his head stuck was great fun to make. The other 2 models are old metal fanatics.
