I’m at my parents at the moment but I took my paints with me and finished the bell. I used a pretty dark metallic base colour so the Grey Seer with it’s bright fur will hopefully stand out more.

Thanks dude. I'm probably buying the entire P3 range and Game Color range soon! I'll have to set up a blog and post my Skaven WIP army as well. I'm finding these newer plastic clan rats are an absolute joy to paint, even if I am doing 100 of them!
Also, not to derail your blog, I was wondering if you could support us wargamers in the Southern Hemisphere by getting behind our plea/petition to get decent fair pricings for GW products in Australia/New Zealand on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_109577025797447&ap=1 Any support we can get from overseas would help GW a lot.
Cheers Tony! The metal was done as I described in the tutorial, however I took the extra time and used two thinned coats of Vermin Brown to build up the rust instead of one thick application. The brass was basecoated with Vallejo Game Colour Hammered Copper, then I washed VGC Brown Ink in the recesses. For the verdigris, I used two thinned coats of VGC Scurf Green and then VGC Jade Green similar to the rust effect. Then I highlighted the Brass with VGC Bright Bronzw and Formula P3 Radiant Platinum. The dark brown metal was basecoated with VGC Tinny Tin, generously washed with Badab Black and then drybrushed with Boltgun Metal. I did this first as it is rather messy.
Hi Stahly, I'm Tony from Sydney, Australia. After your recommendation and being inspired by your great tutorial on Skaven, I decided to start my own Skaven army, using Leather Brown primer to start them.
Anyway I was wondering if you could tell me what metallics you are using for your Screaming Bell? I like the way yours is painted very much so!
