Finished, and what a kit. This is the biggest FW kit I’ve put together, not yet being in the Titan club, (I’m in the ‘where would my wife let me keep it’ club instead). It wasn’t too bad actually, compared to the AWFUL Mk2b Landraider of January which still gives me nightmares.
It is a fairly simple process to achieve a look like this. Essentially you airbrush, weather then finish. There are complications, (like how do you paint the inside?) but if you think it through they’re always surmountable.
Note that it’s sitting on the flyer base ‘backwards’ – this is because the model is so rear heavy that to put it on the right way round is to have it fall off the first time you exhale. Trust me.
Yep, jealous and whatnot.. I really want one of these for my Red Scorpions one day.
This is one of those models that I have loved from the moment I first saw it.
Fill it with terminators and have at it and all that jazz.
Looking good, well in.
Great job, looks awesome!

Really awesome job you did there. The weathering is perfect too. Not to overdone 😛

I need more words… 'cos otherwise I'm just repeating what people are already saying. I really love it!

I've always thought this was a cool looking model and you've certainly done it justice. Nice job on the weathering too.
