@Snake88: Me too. 😀
@miniaturemiscellany: Cheers. They are indeed nice and at 6mm scale I honestly don't need much more detail to be honest. That's why I'm fine with the plastic Rhinos and Land Raiders from that time as well.
@spirnitron: Indeed that the design I meant, I just forgot that they were made into epic models as well. Really nice design though.
Always nice to see some old epic models, but I'm pretty sure that the vehicles on the cover of the 2nd edition codex are the old style of Wave Serpents which were only made as epic models. Good work on the painting I could never do anything that small well (plus at the time i was about 12 and couldn't paint for toffee!)
Excellent. As you probably can guess from my blog I love Epic and Eldar in particular so it's great to see some painted up to this standard.
I also have some of these old Falcons in my army. They're pretty nice models considering their age. Your paint job has brought them up to date nicely.
-Andy.
These are so cool. Never knew that that was how the grave tanks used to look. Makes me want to go and start an epic army!
Thanks very much. I really like how the Gravtanks came out in the end. Originally I wanted to have them be basically Saim-Hann Eldar but as soon as I looked at the models I remembered the pictures of the studio Eldar army in White Dwarf (Epic 40k-era that was) and I knew I had to make them Biel-Tan. 😀
Wow, the nostalgia just keep coming doesn't it? Seriously thought, great work on the grav tanks! Can't wait to see what's next!
