As promised on Saturday, here is the Weapon platform and its operator. These are the last remaining models of the second Guardian squad (I’m going to use my Bonesinger as a Spiritseer but maybe I will paint a regular Warlock for them at a later point).
Tomorrow I’m going to build and convert some Farseers and a Fire Prism.

Stahly
Stahly hails from Craftworld Germany and has been involved with Warhammer since childhood. He has painted several armies and countless warbands and Kill Teams over the decades, and founded Tale of Painters in 2011. When he's not painting miniatures incredibly slowly, he's testing the latest paints, tools and kits with German precision and a no non-sense attitude.
thats strage, i use deneb stone too , but get a very different result :o/
Cheers anyway, lol
Cheers,
important for sharp and even highlights are high quality brushes that keep their tip, you can't get any better than Winsor & Newton Series 7. Also practise is important as well… and of course correcting any mistakes you made!
The base colour of the Cannon is Dheneb Stone. Check out this tutorial: http://stahlyspaintstation.blogspot.com/2010/04/eldar-tutorial.html for all techniques and paints I used for my Eldar.
I'll second the request for a color recipe for the guns. They are so smooth. Did you use an airbrush?
Hey the , shuriken cannon is an interesting colour, was wondering how you do it ?
good clean stuff as usual , I also like the vibrancy of your red.
I'm consistently impressed with how uniform your edge highlighting comes out. I can't seem to paint my edges without noticeable variations in width. Looks good as usual!
