I worked on a whole new commission project. After quite a while I’m back to painting Blood Angels! It’s great to return to these fellows. For now it’s mostly veterans and Elites and such so I started with the Sanguinary Guard which I had never painted before. Very cool miniatures.
Funnily enough, the portions of which I thought they would be the most work (the golds) proved to be rather secondary to those feathers. I had no idea you could stick that many feathers to power armour!
Anyway, very cool models, fun to work with. And the customer is very happy too from what I heard. Hope you like the pictures!

They look very nice indeed. No wonder the client was happy. Now for the rest of his army … 🙂
Exactly. 😀
Really crisp and clean paintjob Sigur! The Glaive Encarmines in particular are superb, really looks like they are glowing with energy. Hope you get some more Fantasy commissions soon 🙂
A tutorial on this would be great!
I love the extreme contrast on your force weapons. All those feathers must have given you some pain to paint! Great work as always Sigur!
