This is my first plastic Drop Pod. Crazy right, I’ve been collecting marines for years and I’ve never painted a plastic Drop Pod. It’s one of those models that just doesn’t excite me. This one is from my old Space Marine Megaforce and it’s time for me to add it to the Dark Angel contingent of my Army of the Imperium. I have painted a Drop Pod in the past though… confused? I explain after the jump.
This Blood Angel Drop Pod was painted nearly 10 years ago, before a plastic one wasn’t even released. This one was made for me by my friend Erwin, who made it out of wood and cardboard. Looks legit doesn’t it.

Garfy, Randy here from Facebook. Can you document your progress? I haven't built or painted a drop pod yet, and I want to make sure I get the ins and outs right. Thanks man, I appreciate it.
So your DA stuff has been amazing so far … looking to forwards to seeing how this turns out.
Cheers

also, that scratch built drop pod is amazing.
drop pods; ive done 5 of these things… they don't get more fun as you go. at least the kit's simple enough, and can be completed in distinct sub-assemblies.
