Hi all, Banzai1000 here with some Vampire Counts character models I did some time ago. Click to enjoy some more pictures…
Of course this post has to start with this massive Nagash, Supreme Lord of the Undead. I worked on him for over three weeks to acchieve a decent result. The base was made of some spare parts from the Garden of Morr. This model was also featured in Warhammer Visions recently.
This Morghast Harbinger serves as a bodygard for Nagash, but is in itself a huge mini. It was painted in the same manner as Nagash. I also used parts of the Garden of Morr for the base.
A Wraith King. I painted this mini right when it was released because I like it very much. I tried to paint it with non-metallic metals.
An old white metal Strigoi. I made a little conversion and added a pair of wings from a Dark Eldar Scourge. I chose a palett ofe grey and blue colours as the Strigois are said to be real creatures of the night.

Thanks a lot, we appreciate any help to continue and grow Tale of Painters 🙂
Awesome job, especially on Nagash! (Think that I still have the first model ever released somewhere in the basement).
I have a question. I havent painted for over 10 years, but after watching some of the work here, I am considering on taking it up again.
What is the best/cheapest site I can order colors from (Especially Vallejo). I am thinking maybe 30-50 Vallejo, some MIG pigments, few P3, 10-20 Citadel colors. – (Also oils, spirits, chalks, brushes, etc…)
Do you guys have a tip where I can get them for the best price.
Thx Anonymous. Sorry but i only use GW colors and get it for the normal price:((((
I enjoy the glowing ghost blue ALOT.
Do you mind sharing the Morgahst bone recipe? cant tell if drybrushed or not.
seconded!
Hey Hari
it's drybrushed with a base coat Steel Legion Drab, then mixed and drybrushed with Dheneb Stone mixed with Screaming Scull mixed with White. After the base coat i used Agrax Earthshade aus a wash.
These are all very very good. I think that Nagash is probably the best one I've seen.
Thx Garfy, really appreciate it 🙂
