I’m back from my vacation and still have a couple of things to share I painted before I left. Here comes addition to my Nighthaunt and Soulblight collection, the Suffocating Gravetide Endless Spell. Such a cool and unique model. Check out more pictures after the jump.

I really love the concept of Endless Spells. Model-wise, they add a lot of variety to an Age of Sigmar army because of their unique silhouettes, which is great, as Age of Sigmar usually doesn’t have many vehicles or robot-like constructs like Warhammer 40.000.

Suffocating Gravetide painted grey and purple

I painted the Gravetide to match the basing style of my Nighthaunt and Soulblight models. The green pieces of rubble have been painted to match my Dominion of Sigmar columns. The skulls were basecoated with Purple Worm from The Army Painter D&D range, then I used an airbrush to apply a zenithal highlight with thinned Corax White, then drybrushed with Corax White and Vallejo Model Color White, and applied a final edge highlight of white.

I built up extra texture and detail with Astrogranite texture paint and sand to blend the Gravetide into the base. I also added a few skulls that I painted the same way as my Skeleton Warriors.

Can’t wait to add a few more Endless Spells to my collection. What is your favourite Endless Spell? Tell me in the comment section below.
