Hello everyone! I fell completely in love with the new Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower when it was announced and instantly pre-ordered it. I decided to paint the Knight Questor from the box first, given I have just recently been painting Stormcast Eternals. I thoroughly enjoyed painting this!
I decided to paint and base the Knight Questor in the same scheme as my other Stormcast Eternals so that I could use him as a hero in Age of Sigmar. I really love this miniature, I think it’s one of the best Stormcast models Games Workshop have released. In fact all of the miniatures from Silver Tower are stunning, I’m planning on painting them all in between other projects.

I've got it, and my favourite has to be the Tenebrael Shard. It's like a cross between a Dark Elf and a Dark Eldar, and along with the Mistweaver, is a very tantalising glimpse at (hopefully) what is to come from the AoS Aelves.
I'm really excited for the Aelves too!
I've been thinking of getting Silver Tower, but given that I am not really 'in to' any of the games I cannot help but feel I might be wasting my money.
That said, this model is beautifully painted. I love the battle damage on the shield and the blood spatter too.
I really like the Darkoath Chieftan – has has a really sarcastic smile which screams "I am better than you". It really contributes well to what I would imagine to be a highly egotistical character!

I see what you mean and how that might put you off buying, but honestly even if you're just able to do the painting side of it all I still think it's definitely worth purchasing even if you won't be able to play it. All the minis are beautiful, and give great opportunities for lots of varied painting 🙂

yeah picked it up yesterday and my favourite model so far is the Knight Questor
I have assembled in parts and have started work on the cloak. At the moment I am trying to decide if I am going to go deeper with the Sigmarites and go with the standard scheme or look to develop my own
But great work on your figure. I reminds me of the gritty nature of the film Excalibur
Looks great – I actually borrowed your basic scheme in working on my own Stormcast eternals from the AoS starter box set and have been quite pleased with how they are turning out.
If you paint and post the other Silver Tower minis let us know your recipes if you are so inclined. I am going to be tackling the box later this summer and as someone who paints lots of Khorne, I've got my red and black down. Crazy Tzeentch colors, not so much. So I'll be hunting for ideas and I imagine other folks might be in the same boat.
Still playing Heroquest and Advanced Heroquest but yes, I will be getting Silver Tower 😀
