Hi all, I’m back with a Legio Custodes Guard from the Burning of Prospero box. This Guard is the only one I have (got it separately from a bitz seller), I justed wanted to know what it’s like to paint one of them. Obviously, the main colour had to be gold. There isn’t much on Legio Custodes Squads you need to paint differently 😉 They might seem like massive and intimidating models, but they’re actually quite easy to paint. I just drybrushed and washed the guy above.
So who else is with the Emperor and his elite guard? Leave a comment…

Cowabunga, dude!
Thx!
Getting two squads, going to follow the WarhammerTV tutorial, looks simple enough, but if you can post a simpler method here I'll be interested too! Looks lovely, rich gold, was it washed, and if so what wash did you use?
Thx! I used Retributor Gold washed with Reikland Fleshshade first followed by Druchii Violet for the darkest areas. Then drybrushed with Retributor, Liberator Gold and Ironbreaker. Then I applied a very thin layer of Lamenters Yellow Glaze.
Very shiny. I really like the deep shadows. Great work.
Thx mate!
