Hi everyone! Today I’m back to show off an older project as I’ve been unable to take photos of newer work lately. This is an Escher Gang Leader I painted up in February this year. The scheme for her had been kicking around in my head for a long while (mainly the pink hair), and a painting competition in the same month centred around female miniatures afforded me the motivation to get it done.
The model itself was a gift from a close friend, so I wanted to go all out and paint it to the best of my ability. The idea for the scheme was a modernised 80s theme, and that allowed me to try out a few things I’d never done before. Specifically the makeup on her face, and freehand on the base. Elements such as the hair, base and power sword, I was immensely proud of at the time.
The freehand on her coat is from the game Shadowrun, slightly tweaked because I wanted to make it a little easier for myself. Necromunda and Shadowrun both evoke such a cyberpunk feel, that I felt it only appropriate to do something with them both on this model. Most importantly, the friend that gifted the model to me was incredibly pleased to see her painted up, and really liked it!
Thanks for reading, and hopefully I’ll be back soon with my current projects!

Wow, I love the freehand. Great to see Necromunda getting some love, especially Escher! 😀
Thanks, Escher are the best!
That Shadowrun freehand is bonkers! Well done!
Thanks man, could be sharper in some areas but I'm happy with it. 🙂
Lovely work.
Thank you!
Might be because it's from a different era, but I can't remember ever seeing a necromunda model look that good, great job
Thanks! Glad you like it 🙂
