Hi. all! Next on my paint station I had this Contemptor Dreadnought for the Legio Custodes. I used all sorts of parts that I found in my bitz box, and built this machine for the glory of the Emperor.
Maybe you can identify all the pieces I used? Leave a comment in the comment section…

Very awesome.
My one problem, is that his shoulders must be broken, right? His head is so much farther forward than where his shoulders must be for his arms to line up with the dreadnought arms. Or is that not how that kind of dreadnought works? I don't actually know.
Thx, i think it's the perspective of the picture. Normally there's an armourplate in front of the head which was removed. The arms, also the arm of the Dreadknight, are in there normal positions…..
Great looking kitbash ^^ Parts from FW relic contemptor, FW cyclone missile launcher set, betrayal at calth, Dredknight, Custodes banner pole, Shoulder parts from an old inquisitor model… 🙂
Thx, you are absolutely right ?
Haven't a clue where the pieces come from. Love the bronze, and the scroll work. Any tips on replicating the writing?
Thx! There are different ways for the writings. I used a very small brush with thinned down color. It's more like stippling the color on to the banner rather then "writing". I also have a small ink pencil which I use in the same manner.
Thanks. Will give it a go soon.
