Hey all, today I thought I’d show a recently completed Legio Custodes Contemptor-Galatus Dreadnought.
The model was recently released by Forge World and it was a instant purchase. I painted the Dreadnought using Scalecolor paints. This is the first time I have used them and I was really impressed. What do you think?

I enjoy the little bits of green, purple and sepia but the amount of silver is not to my taste. I still prefer this to say that recent post with the two contemptors, that just had no flavor. Interested to hear your opinion on the scalecolor paints tho.
I normally really like your style of painting but I don't think it works on this mini. Perhaps if you had added a gold to the armour filigree it would break it up a bit more.
I like this a lot. What colours are you using?
Hari/Anon will post the colours once back home as away for a few days. The range of paints are Scalecolor and you can find them at Firestorm games UK.
How did he sell for on Ebay in the end?
Not 100% certain as yet, but did have someone commission me a Legio army for later in the year. So will post the work on that at some point.
I like i – much better than the gleaming gold FW version. . Just a thought – maybe some grimy gold on some of the details to break up the silver a little & bring some extra detail? What process are you using to get the heavy wear/grime on the metal?
