This is the first batch of Ultramarines I’m working on. The armour is complete, now onto the details. I’m recording all steps for a tutorial, so stay tuned.
By the way, I’m really excited for Shadow Wars Armageddon. I loved Necromunda back then, it’s the only GW game apart from Space Hulk that I played more than a few times (I’m more of a painter and collector than gamer). To make it into a skirmish game that can be played with all 40k factions is an excellent idea and opens up loads of new modelling options. What do you think? Did you manage to get a preorder in? I noticed the first batch is already sold out…

I'm looking forward to your tutorial Stahly. You have a nice crisp style. It'll be interesting to hear how you go about doing it. It would be nice to know a bit about how long this kind of thing typically takes you too.
Cheers. I'd say the batch above will probably take around 13 to 15 hours to complete (without assembling).
I missed it! I was hoping it was a cruel April Fool's prank, but I'll have to get my hands on the rulebook separately, I suppose.
It does give me a great excuse to paint small squads from all the different factions.
I have a load of Terrain I can use for something like that anyway, so here is hoping they release the rules separately!
