Hey all, today I want to show a Dark Angels Nephilim Jetfighter.
The model is painted starting with a basecoat of black, this is then airbrushed with Vallejo Nato black from above and areas of interest. I then used weathering powders to cover the model in various rust shades and airbrushed water over the model to create a watered down rust effect. I then fixed in place the weathering powders with matt varnish. This was the basic beginnings to this model. For the wings I used masking tape to mark of the symbol. What do you think of the finished model?

Very nice
The black canopy gives it a very menacing look
I like the overall look but I'd personally go for a dirty/weathered transparent canopy to show off the interior
Looks like a quick paint-job with decent results. Solid.
The NATO Black – what kinda black is that? Warm black? Brown black? Blue black?
Its a dark grey black. The Tamiya version is best.
Thanks!
