With all four coaches successfully completing the first month, we now scour social media to see who’s been using #taleoftuesdays and #paintyourgames, find out after the jump.
Test head for my new Dark Elf Blood Bowl Team. First observation: Love the miniatures but they are as fiddily as f**k to put together ?#taleoftuesdays #taleofpainters #paintyourgames pic.twitter.com/MO4auUTwDT

#taleoftuesdays update Got the bulk of base colours down on my first four line elves. Base colours are deliberately a muted red white and blue but will brighten up with highlighting. Blue = Vallejo Dark Sea Green Red = 50:50 Vallejo Hull Red and Gory Red White = GW Wraithbone Skin = Vallejo Tan + GW Reikland Fleshshade Gold = GW Retributor Armour + Reikland Fleshshade Base = Vallejo Chocolate brown over Winsor & Newton Medium Grain Gel Not sure which colour to do the facemasks yet, possibly the Blue I also tried out some of the different brown contrast paints on the hair over a GW Screaming Skull base. I’m not wholly convinced yet but will see how it looks after some highlights and tidying up. #taleofpainters #paintyourgames #paintingwarhammer #bloodbowl

Where to start? Here‘s my first post – a lineman I painted to reinforce my Blood Bowl Wood Elf team. Please excuse the rather bad photo quality – still have to figure out the ideal lighting. #miniatures #paintingminiatures #bloodbowl #bloodbowlteams #warhammerfantasy #paintyourgames #woodelves #taleofpainters #minipainting #fantasyfootball #paintingminis #paintingwarhammer #paintingbloodbowl #dungeonsansdragons #dnd #tabletopgaming #boardgames #boardgameaddict #geek #nuffle

What’s that, you want to get involved?
You can join us on the pitch by sharing your work on social media platforms (twitter, Instagram or facebook) using the hashtags:
#taleoftuesdays #taleofpainters #paintyourgames
Make sure your account is public (in case of facebook, set your #taleoftuesdays posts to public).
We want to engage with all our fellow coaches, so we’ll have an eye on these hashtags and stop by for comments and criticism. Every now and then we also feature your finished players here on Tale of Painters.
From all of your teams that were painted during Tale of Tuesdays, we pick our favourite team to win a Wayland Games or Element Games voucher to the amount of a plastic Blood Bowl team box so you can start painting another team right away.
We hope to see a lot of cool Blood Bowl teams painted! Until next Tuesday…
Nice work everyone
