That’s another batch of Goffs done and dusted for Orktober!
This basically is the specialists batch. Kommandoz, Tank Hunterz, plus a handful (well, 30 plus Nob) of Sluggaz.
With all the additional equipment and big guns on the tank hunterz, these were a fair bit more work than the usual orky boyz fare, but I really enjoy the look of the guys. I have to admit that when I set them up in the showcase at a wargames show (before I sent them off home) I set up the minis and caught myself thinking “wow, those look really nice”. A bit of an embarassing thought, but also kinda reassuring about the result.
So yeah, that’s that. I hope that you like them. Next batch already arrived, and it’s going to be Gretchins!

No need to feel embarrassed or self conscious about that feeling at all.
That is one damn nice looking Ork horde!
Thanks very much!
Ork Boyz look great on 32mm bases!
Yeah, after having grown the figures for all that time I guess at some point they had to jump to a larger base size. 😉
I've been plodding my way through Orks very slowly since 2nd edition and have a very simple paint scheme. It feels like a chore to finish them. Your horde looks amazing and I think it's probably my favorite Ork force that I've seen. Fantastic work!
Thanks, 7Sided!
My own Orks army is all 1st/2nd edition minis, but sadly I didn't really have the time to add to it in… well, almost 10 years. 😀 Love my boyz to bits though. The chaps above (just like all other Orks I've painted more recently) are commission jobs. I have to say though that I'm enjoying the post-1998 Orks now as much as the old ones by now. Well, not quite as much. But I like them OK. Especially these here with all the little conversions and so on. Next on the list: Gretchins!
