The Terminator Squad. The indomitable veterans of the Ultramarines, clad in ancient Tactical Dreadnought Armour and ready to strike fear into any foe. In this showcase, I present my finished squad, painted to complement my Terminator Captain.

TERMINATORS! Must be one of if not “the” most iconic Warhammer miniatures ever made. Harking back to the glorious year of 1987, the iconic models were designed and sculpted by the incredible Jes Godwin and Bob Naismith. I can remember seeing the initial release box of metal “Termies” in my local independent gaming store as a kid and wanted them immediately. The amazing box artwork with the striking red (Blood Angels) scheme really drew my attention and imagination.

Speaking of art both Garfy and Stahly are not only fantastic hobbyists and miniature painters but have great professional experience in art and design. I think they will agree with me when I say the silhouette and bulky, heavy appearance of the Terminator range always makes an impression, even if you don’t really know much about Warhammer.

The range has seen alterations and amendments over time and the releases and recent reveal of the latest close combat versions these latest models provide far better silhouettes with more dynamic action poses and movement in each sculpt, personally I think they have never looked better.

I am very happy to share with you my finished squad to accompany my Terminator Captain (which you can see in this post). I hope to be deep striking into enemy lines soon causing mayhem!
