Showcase: Warcry Horns of Hashut (incl. painting guides)
This weekend sees the release of Warcry Heart of Ghur and I was lucky enough to be sent the starter set early to paint up. I’ll be sharing the war bands and terrain in their own posts starting with the Horns of Hashut.

Smashing through from the Eight Points this week is my take on the Fomoroid Crusher for Warcry. An overall amazing kit with a ton of options and bits. Reminding us that the word Ogre isn’t a synonym for a green swamp dwelling creature with Scottish accent voiced by a Canadian.
Showcase: Warcry Darkoath Savagers
On today’s post I share the Darkoath Savages I finished on the last day of December. These models are part of the Warcry Red Harvest Boxed Game and were the last models I needed to paint to complete that game. It always feels great to finish a boxed game. I also own a sizeable (over 2000pts) army of painted Slaves to Darkness, so these are great additions I’m happy to add.

Showcase: Warcry Scions of the Flame warband
These zealots are the embodiment of the Realm of Fire. They truly believe they are made stronger by embracing Aqshian magic and hunting the beasts that Realm and performing rituals such as eating the hearts of Magmavores and Ash Salamanders. Those who are worthy become living flames and their weapons burning white hot and igniting in flame. Those who are unworthy are burnt to a cinder. Ultimately, all they want is to follow Archaon as he sets the Mortal Realms ablaze. More close up pictures of my newly finished warband after the jump.
